Award-winning public relations professional Nikki Wright likes to live life at full speed, whether she is in the boardroom or out on the ski slopes. The founder and Managing Director of Wright Communications is one of New Zealand's top corporate communications practitioners, leading a talented team with expertise across the corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors.
Nikki has more than 15 years' experience in public relations and has worked with some of New Zealand's biggest and most successful companies, including Frucor, Meridian and Mainfreight. She has provided communications support and strategic advice on IPOs, mergers and acquisitions and a range of other business activities. She is also one of New Zealand's leading experts on corporate social responsibility.
A self-professed "adrenalin junky", Nikki gets a buzz from working in the fast-paced world of public relations. But don't expect to see her relaxing on a beach in her down time, because she would much rather be hurtling down the side of a mountain. The North Shore resident makes an annual pilgrimage to Queenstown during winter for a skiing holiday with her husband (and fellow Wright Communications director) Aaron Wainhouse and her daughters Courtney and Stella.
Nikki founded Wright Communications in 2006 and describes it as a family business, where clients are treated as partners and work closely with experienced consultants.
