TravelSIM's mobile phone PA service can make sure a limo is ready to whisk weary travellers from the airport to their hotel, reserve a table at the hottest restaurant in town, and book tickets to a show. It will even translate 70 languages.
This friendly PA is available 24/7 and knows there is business to be done too - it will also help arrange a conference call for the next day, and send that important email. All this at a fraction of the cost charged by similar services on platinum credit cards.
TravelSIM New Zealand CEO, James Currah, says the PA service provides peace of mind to busy travellers who want to find out practical information while they're on the go, no matter where they are in the world.
"It enables you to do everything from checking flight times to booking a table at a restaurant and even tickets to a show following your meal. Similar services are offered through platinum credit cards, but at a much greater cost," says Mr Currah.
The PA service is accessible around the clock, 365 days a year and provides travel information and support, business services and medical assistance and emergency services to travellers while overseas, as well as live language interpretation services in more than 70 languages.
TravelSIM has extended this service to all TravelSIM customers free of charge to the end of 2011. Customers will only pay the normal cost of making a phone call from the country they are in. After December 31, 2011, a one-off subscription fee of just $15 applies for six months of unlimited usage, which is automatically withdrawn from the customer's account upon first calling the Personal Assistant service.
The TravelSIM Personal Assistant service is backed by 28 alarm centres worldwide staffed by doctors, multilingual co-ordinators, security experts and logistics personnel. It has 31 clinics globally, with more than 8,000 employees, including 1,900 medical professionals. It is backed by more than 65,000 accredited network providers worldwide, and provides solutions to 87 of the Fortune Global 100 companies.
TravelSIM offers overseas roaming charges to its customers at about a quarter of the price of current rates via its global roaming network of 350 carriers. TravelSIM has coverage in 190 countries around the world.
