Doors are set to open on the Dio House Tour for Causes

Supported by New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty the homes participating in the Tour on Friday, 9 November will raise funds for their own selected charity and Diocesan School's Performing Arts Centre.

"It's great to be involved in helping multiple charities," says Chris Jones, the National Sales and Franchise Director for New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty.

"Thanks to the generous homeowners from the wider Dio community there is a great range of houses on the tour. Without their co-operation and support the day would not be possible."

This year's tour will offer a wide variety of properties for all ticket-holders to enjoy and appreciate.  Whether it's a grande dame villa or a rooftop garden with views of Newmarket, the architecture will fascinate.

From a Ponting Fitzgerald designed home with commanding views of Rangitoto, to a cliffside Herne Bay home with private beach access, there really is something for everyone to feast their eyes upon.

Featured homes are in Remuera, Orakei, Parnell and Herne Bay.

Charities benefitting from the House Tour are: Alzheimer's NZ; Anglican Trust for Women and Children; Arthritis Appeal; Auckland City Mission; Duncan Foundation; Garden to Table; Rainbow Youth; Women's Refuge and There's a Better Way.

"The tour also fits with our passion and commitment to the inner-city real estate market," says Chris Jones. "It's an area we know well, with many spectacular properties, ten of which make up the tour."
