Just 40 minutes from Auckland’s city centre sits a facility that will challenge your physical and mental abilities, give you a hit of adrenalin, and make for a fun day out. Opening in 2019, Adrenalin Forest adventure park sits in the Bombay Hills between Auckland and Hamilton, enabling individuals to push their limits and gain a sense of accomplishment through completing a demanding, stimulating obstacle course.

Made from bridges, wires, swings and flying foxes, the thrilling aerial obstacle course invites participants high into the treetops to conquer their fears in a safe environment. Designed to challenge participants in their agility, balance, strength, resilience, and fear of heights, Adrenalin Forest invites individuals to challenge themselves in ways they will not find their office job providing. After extensive training on how to move through the course, participants are given the independence to shape their aerial adventure in the way that suits them best – climbing through the treetops and swinging, zipping and balancing their way to the end of the course, which they are given up to three hours to complete.

Adrenalin Forest was started in New Zealand back in 2006, by French citizen Jean Caillabet. Adventure Parks originated in France off the back of army training courses, designed to provide participants with a fun and challenging simulation experience. Hopeful that the concept of Adventure Parks would fly in New Zealand, Jean’s first park in Christchurch introduced Kiwis to the worldwide phenomenon. Jean opened his second park in Wellington in 2010, his third in the Bay of Plenty in 2011 and the Bombay Hills location in 2019.

Hours of Operation
Summer: Beginning of September school holidays to the end of April school holidays. Monday – Saturday 10am-6pm (last entry 2.30pm), closed Sunday during school term.

Winter: End of April school holidays to beginning of September school holidays. Wednesday – Saturday 10am-5pm (last entry 2pm), closed Sunday – Tuesday (during school term).

School and Public holidays – open seven days during school holidays and every public holiday.
