Wright Communications was charged with publicising the New River Green 50 List, New Zealand's first ever definitive list of companies making the most money improving the environment.
Wright Communications secured coverage about the list several months in advance of its launch in the NZ Herald. In addition, exclusive front page feature was secured in the NZ Herald's Business Herald supplement on the day of the launch, with a preview on the front page of the newspaper, and a full splash on the supplement cover, with several pages of coverage inside. More coverage was then sought in other media across the country.
The media campaign was extremely successful with extensive nationwide coverage. In addition, the client was approached by potential investors from Silicon Valley in the United States, who saw the coverage online and are interested in investing in New Zealand's successful green businesses.
